ECON Healthcare Group has over 36 years of experience and is the leading premium private nursing home operator in Singapore and Malaysia.
We operate 12 medicare centres and nursing homes in Singapore, Malaysia and China. In January 2020, we were appointed as an operator under the BOL Scheme for two new nursing homes, namely ECON Medicare Centre and Nursing Home – Henderson, which is in operation since 2021, and ECON Medicare Centre and Nursing Home – Jurong East, with 732 bed capacity, the Nursing Home is expected to be operational in 2026.

Our Corporate Team
Our track record of successful growth is a testament to the experience and commitment of our management team, led by our experienced founder, Executive Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ong Chu Poh.
Mr Ong Chu Poh is supported by both our Chief Executive Officer, Singapore, Ms Ong Hui Ming and our Group Chief Financial Officer, and Head Overseas Development, Ms Kang Shwu Huey Agnes.
Ms Ong Hui Ming, who has been with our Group for 16 years, is supporting Mr Ong Chu Poh in the development and execution of the group’s strategic plans. She is also responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the group’s business in Singapore.
As group CFO, Kang, who has more than 15 years of experience in financial management and audit, oversees the corporate finance and treasury, accounting shared services, reporting, and other financial aspects of the business. As head of overseas development, Kang supports the group CEO in the group’s overseas developments including Malaysia and China.
Our key management team is also supported by an experienced operational team that has essential on-the-ground knowledge and experience of the day-to-day management of our business and operations.
