COVID-19 Precautionary Measures: Visitation Policy Change

Enhanced precautionary measures to protect residents

Your loved one's health is our utmost priority

MOH: No Visitors at Nursing Homes
As advised by MOH and AIC, effective 2nd April 2020, no visitors will be allowed at all nursing homes. You may read this CNA or 联合早报 article for more info.

*Updated 2nd April 2020.

Enhanced precautionary measure
We have taken steps to further enhance our precautionary measures to better protect your loved ones. For example, our care staff are advised to remain home or their dormitories on their rest days. Precautionary measures are effective only if we work together and exercise social responsibility. We seek your understanding and support as we implement enhanced precautionary measures.

Change in visitation policy to reduce the risk of transmission
We seek your understanding that with effect from 1 April 2020, visits will only be permitted for residents receiving compassionate care e.g. in critical condition, or for end-stage care visits. No other visits will be allowed. This is to isolate risks and prevent transmission into our homes and out to the community.

Connecting with your loved ones
Family is important and we empathise that this will be a difficult period for everyone. We will be enabling video calls through WhatsApp for you to connect with your loved one. Please contact the Home directly to have this arranged.

Thank you for the appreciation
Our care team work tirelessly to ensure the health and safety of seniors in our homes. Many of whom, stayed in Singapore instead of returning home to be with their families. Thank you for appreciating their compassionate and professional care.
