    Awards 2017
    Ms Foo Mai Khin, a caregiver for her father who resides at ECON Medicare Centre and
    Nursing Home, received a Caregiver Award from Guest-of-Honour and Courage Fund
    Patron Dr Tony Tan, The President of the Republic of Singapore.

    2 Healthcare Humanity Awards (Intermediate Long-Term Care Sector (ILTC) Award)
    at the Healthcare Humanity Awards 2017
    Senior Staff Nurse Myat Myat Khine (ECON Medicare Centre and Nursing Home, Buangkok)
    and Ward Manager Doreen Leow (ECON Medicare Centre and Nursing Home, Chai Chee)
    were both awarded the Intermediate Long-Term Care Sector (ILTC) Award from
    Guest-of-Honour and Courage Fund Patron Dr Tony Tan, The President of the Republic of
    Singapore, at the Healthcare Humanity Awards 2017.

    Winner of Best Geriatric Healthcare Operator Award at the 5th Asia Pacific
    Eldercare Innovation Awards
    ECON Healthcare Group received the Best Geriatric Healthcare Operator Award at
    the 5th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards. The award honours the healthcare operators
    that provide the best healthcare treatment, rehabilitation and medical services for older adults.

    Innovation Awards

    ECON Healthcare Group received the Best Rehabilitation Operator Award at the
    5th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards. The award honours healthcare operators that
    provide the best programmes that enable improvements for daily living, strength, and
    wellbeing.

    28 Silver Awards at the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards 2017
    ECON Healthcare Group garnered 28 awards in the Silver Quality Service Award Category
    at the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards 2017. The 28 Silver Awards were presented
    to the nursing, rehabilitation, kitchen and administrative staff of ECON Healthcare Group by
    Mr Chee Hong Tat, Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information, Ministry of
    Health. ECON Healthcare Group achieved the distinction of having the most award wins for
    Nursing Home staff in the ILTC sector.

  • Winner of Service Quality Team Award at the ILTC Excellence Awards 2016
    The team at ECON Medicare Centre and Nursing Home bagged a Service Quality Team
    Award at the Intermediate and Long Term Care (ILTC) Excellence Awards 2016 for the
    ‘Language Training Programme’. The programme effectively improved staff proficiency
    in local languages such as Mandarin by incorporating elements of interactivity and
    technology.

    4 Silver Individual Service Quality Awards at the ILTC Excellence Awards 2016
    Four nursing staff of ECON Medicare Centre and Nursing Home were awarded Silver
    Individual Service Quality Awards at the ILTC Excellence Awards 2016. The award
    recognises outstanding individuals who have displayed excellent service standards and
    made significant contributions in healthcare.
