Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

01. What is Acupuncture?

According to TCM philosophy, our health is dependent on the body's motivation energy - known as Qi - moving in a balanced and smooth direction, through a series or meridians beneath the skin.

Qi consists of equal and opposite qualities - Yin and Yang - and when these become unbalanced, illness may result. By inserting fine needles into the channels of energy, the body's own healing response can be stimulated and helps restore its natural balance.

02. If I do not have any medical conditions, can I take Chinese herbs?

TCM has a long history of more than two thousand years, and has accumulated vast experience in Chinese herbal medication to enhance health, prevent illness and delay ageing.

However, as individual's body is unique and different, you would require an experienced TCM practitioner to give you advice before you start consuming Chinese medication on your own.
