	Healthcare Seminars
As part of our community service to educate the public about disease prevention and other healthcare issues, ECON conducts free healthcare seminars in both English and Mandarin by inviting reputed and experienced physicians and therapists to speak on health-related topics at our Centre.

	Active Day
The Active Day event this year for ECON is a very special one. The management team took the lead to demonstrate the importance of staying healthy. As shown in the photographs, our management team has sweated it out in the 45 minutes workout. From our smiling faces, it is clear that everyone has enjoyed the workout session.


	Towards a Speedy Recovery
Our first public stroke health forum was organised on 10 February, 2007 at our auditorium in ECON Medicare Centre - Chai Chee. The 50 participants from the healthcare sector and the general public walked away with insights from guest speaker Dr Ho King Hee, Neurologist & Visiting Specialist to West Point Hospital. He shared his knowledge of stroke and stroke management while our own physiotherapist rehabilitation manager, Mr Jeffrey Wai, and TCM physician Mr Edward Yeo discussed the various therapies available for stroke rehabilitation and the TCM approach to stroke recovery respectively.


	Senior Citizen Health Week
ECON Healthcare Group was one of the event sponsors for the Senior Citizen Health Week for Feng Shan Community Centre held on 28 April, 2007. From morning till afternoon, our subsidiary ECON TCM Services provided free consultations and TCM meridian health check-ups for the 60 residents present. Our physicians also conducted a hands-on child massage workshop, which taught parents massage techniques to ease the common ailments of their little ones.
